Please do not book without reading and approving all of our policies! We know rules are no fun, but boundaries are healthy! If you don’t agree to our pre-care and policies, your appointment may be cancelled and you may lose your deposit, so please be respectful of our time and processes in the following ways:

  • RESULTS: Healed results vary widely due to the organic nature of skin. Results are never guaranteed, and additional sessions (priced accordingly) or makeup may be needed to achieve your desired look. We strongly recommends clients to adhere to the pre-booking and aftercare guidelines, as well as read our FAQ for optimal results.
  • FOLLOW-UPS: If you miss your follow-up session, or fail to book one within 12 weeks, you may be charged a deposit of $50 to book a new one.
  • PREGNANCY + NURSING: We cannot legally tattoo you while you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you become pregnant between sessions, we will have to cancel your follow up appointment, and you must wait until 3 months postpardum or after nursing.
  • REFRESHES: To book a refresh, your most recent session must have been done at SAGE within the past 3 years. We recommend this service every 3 years, or when your tattoo is at least 70% faded. If you are NOT a returning customer for that service, you will have to pay full price or your appointment may be cancelled.
  • COVER-UPS + CORRECTIONS: If you’ve had work done in the desired treatment area by another artist, (even if it’s old or faded) please email a photo for pre-approval. If you skip this step and your booking photo shows us it’s not workable, your appointment may be cancelled within 3 days, and your deposit refunded. We offer free email consultations and a great lightening/removal service to help avoid this scenario!
  • RESCHEDULING: Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable. If you’d like to reschedule, you may do so ONCE before the 72 hour window. If it is less than 72 hours, you will need a new deposit to rebook at a later date. If you are sick, please stay home, and email us to reschedule.
  • CANCELLATION: If you decide to cancel your appointment for any reason, even with more than 72 hours notice, you will forfeit your deposit.
  • 18+ ONLY: You must present a valid photo ID to be tattooed. Please don’t bring pet with you to your appointment, as it is not a safe or supervised environment for them We reserve the right to refuse service, and will ask you to leave if you are disrespectful to your artist.
