Cat eyeliner (Winged Eyeliner)

The procedure of cat eyeliners in permanent makeup involves the application of pigment to create a winged or elongated eyeliner look that enhances the eyes. Here is a step-by-step overview of the procedure:

Consultation: The process begins with a consultation with a skilled permanent makeup artist. During this session, the artist will discuss the client's desired eyeliner style, examine their eye shape, and assess their eligibility for the procedure.

Numbing: Before starting the procedure, a topical numbing cream or gel is applied to the eyelids to minimize any discomfort during the application.

Eyeliner Design: The artist will work with the client to design the cat eyeliner style that best complements their eye shape and facial features. The design is typically drawn or traced on the eyelids for reference.

Pigment Selection: High-quality pigments that match the client's desired eyeliner color are chosen. The artist may also consider the client's natural skin and hair color to achieve a harmonious result.

Eyeliner Application: Using a fine needle or microblade, the artist will carefully deposit the pigment along the upper lash line, gradually extending it outward in a winged or cat-eye shape. The strokes are precise and mimic the appearance of real eyelashes.

Healing and Aftercare: After the procedure, the client will experience some redness and swelling, which typically subsides within a few days. It's essential to follow the aftercare instructions provided by the artist to promote proper healing and pigment retention.

Touch-Ups: Depending on individual healing and skin type, a touch-up session may be scheduled after a few weeks to refine the eyeliner and ensure long-lasting results.

The cat eyeliner procedure in permanent makeup can enhance the eyes and create a defined, alluring look that does not smudge or fade like traditional eyeliner. When performed by a skilled artist, cat eyeliners can accentuate the eyes and provide a beautiful, semi-permanent enhancement to the client's overall appearance.

How Long Does Cat Liners Last?
Permanent makeup may undergo slight fading or color changes over the years. The longevity of the pigments varies depending on factors such as skin type, sun exposure, and individual healing processes. Nevertheless, advancements in pigment formulations and application techniques have led to improved color retention, providing lasting results. Cat Liners should last anywhere from 1 year to 3 years before requiring a touch-up.
How Long Does Cat Liners Takes to Heal?
"Your new eyeliners will go through several phases during the healing cycle. The pigment will appear very unnatural looking immediately after the procedure. The color of the pigment will appear much darker the next day. The entire healing process will take from 10 - 14 days depending on your body regeneration and age. Please avoid wet activities that expose your skin heavily to water or your own sweat like workout or swiming for the first two-week. The area will be fully healed 30 days after the procedure was done."
Is Permanent Makeup Expensive?
"You get what you pay for"" You are paying for the value, detailed and skill of a well trained professional artist who is performing the Cat Liners technique on you. Hence the price is uncomparable and may vary depend on who you are working with.
What Kind of Food to Avoid after The Procedure?
After a Cat Liners procedure, it is important to avoid certain types of food in order to ensure proper healing and the best results. Some foods to avoid include spicy foods, as they can cause irritation and inflammation in the treated area. Additionally, it is advised to avoid foods that are high in salt, as they can lead to retention of fluids and swelling. Alcohol and caffeine should also be avoided, as they can dehydrate the body and slow down the healing process.
Avoid Water for The First 24 Hours !
After having Cat Liners done, it is recommended to avoid water for at least 24 hours. This is because during the healing process, the pigment needs time to settle into the skin and any exposure to water can disrupt this process. Water can cause the pigment to fade or be washed away completely. It is important to follow this recommendation as it will ensure that the Cat Liners results are long-lasting and satisfactory. During the first 24 hours after the procedure, it is best to avoid activities that involve water, such as swimming, showering, or washing the face.

Cat Liners itself will not cause scarring. What can cause scarring after a Cat Liners procedure is picking at the healing skin. This is why it is extremely important to make sure you WILL NOT pick at any shredding/flaking skin after they have gone through a Cat Liners procedure. Picking could result in the loss of pigment as well as scarring.
