Inner liners (Enhancement)

The procedure of inner liners in permanent makeup, also known as tightline or waterline eyeliner, involves applying pigment to the waterline or inner rim of the eyes to enhance and define the eyes. Here is a step-by-step overview of the procedure:

Consultation: The process begins with a consultation with a qualified permanent makeup artist. During this session, the artist will discuss the client's desired eyeliner style and assess their eligibility for the procedure. They will also explain the process and address any concerns or questions the client may have.

Numbing: To ensure the client's comfort during the procedure, a topical numbing cream or gel is applied to the eyes to minimize any discomfort.

Pigment Selection: The artist will select a suitable pigment color that complements the client's eye color and desired look. The pigment chosen is typically safe for use on the waterline.

Eyeliner Application: Using a gentle and precise technique, the artist will carefully apply the pigment to the waterline or inner rim of the eyes. The goal is to create a defined and enhanced look without the appearance of visible eyeliner on the eyelid.

Healing and Aftercare: After the procedure, the eyes may experience mild sensitivity or redness, which usually subsides within a few days. The artist will provide aftercare instructions to promote proper healing and preserve the longevity of the pigment.

Touch-Ups: Depending on individual healing and skin type, a touch-up session may be scheduled after a few weeks to refine the inner liner and ensure the best results.

The inner liner procedure in permanent makeup can make the eyes appear more awake and vibrant, enhancing their natural beauty without the need for daily eyeliner application. It's essential to have the procedure performed by a skilled and experienced permanent makeup artist to achieve safe, natural-looking, and long-lasting results.

How Long Does Inner Liners Last?
Permanent makeup may undergo slight fading or color changes over the years. The longevity of the pigments varies depending on factors such as skin type, sun exposure, and individual healing processes. Nevertheless, advancements in pigment formulations and application techniques have led to improved color retention, providing lasting results. Inner Liners should last anywhere from 1 year to 3 years before requiring a touch-up.
How Long Does Inner Liners Takes to Heal?
Your new eyeliners will go through several phases during the healing cycle. The pigment will appear very unnatural looking immediately after the procedure. The color of the pigment will appear much darker the next day. The entire healing process will take from 10 - 14 days depending on your body regeneration and age. Please avoid wet activities that expose your skin heavily to water or your own sweat like workout or swiming for the first two-week. The area will be fully healed 30 days after the procedure was done.
Is Permanent Makeup Expensive?
"You get what you pay for"" You are paying for the value, detailed and skill of a well trained professional artist who is performing the Inner Liners technique on you. Hence the price is uncomparable and may vary depend on who you are working with.
What Kind of Food to Avoid after The Procedure?
After a Inner Liners procedure, it is important to avoid certain types of food in order to ensure proper healing and the best results. Some foods to avoid include spicy foods, as they can cause irritation and inflammation in the treated area. Additionally, it is advised to avoid foods that are high in salt, as they can lead to retention of fluids and swelling. Alcohol and caffeine should also be avoided, as they can dehydrate the body and slow down the healing process.
Avoid Water for The First 24 Hours !
After having Inner Liners done, it is recommended to avoid water for at least 24 hours. This is because during the healing process, the pigment needs time to settle into the skin and any exposure to water can disrupt this process. Water can cause the pigment to fade or be washed away completely. It is important to follow this recommendation as it will ensure that the Inner Liners results are long-lasting and satisfactory. During the first 24 hours after the procedure, it is best to avoid activities that involve water, such as swimming, showering, or washing the face.

This is why it is extremely important to make sure you WILL NOT pick at any shredding/flaking skin after they have gone through a Inner Liners procedure. Picking could result in the loss of pigment as well as scarring.
